Have more freedom while diving
There'll be 1 class in the pool to learn basic techniques and adapt to the equipment. The next day, we will dive at Ilha do Arvoredo for 50 minutes, longer than the conventional baptism dive, which is 30 minutes.
It will be an even more complete experience for you to explore the diversity of the seabed . You will fall in love with scuba diving!
How it works?
1°- Practical class in the pool
On day 1, the instructor provides a brief but detailed summary of the effects of water pressure, how to communicate underwater, how your equipment works, and how to enjoy diving safely.
Next, we will go to the practical class in the pool, where you will have the opportunity to breathe through the regulator and swim efficiently with your equipment. You will also see some simple skills from the PADI Open Water Diver course – beginner course.
2°- Dazzle the coast of Floripa
On the 2nd day, the program starts at 7:15 am, when we meet at our headquarters, on Jurerê beach. Afterwards, we went to the beach to departure.
At 8:00 am we began the 90-minute journey to Ilha do Arvoredo, considered the best diving site in southern Brazil.
During this stage, you will have the opportunity to enjoy an incredible view of the majestic coastline of Florianópolis Island and the mainland coast.
We arrived at the island around 9:30 am and start our first dives.
Team prepared to assist with whatever you need.
3°- The big moment has arrived
The dive will be guided by the instructor, who will give you complete freedom to dive independently, unlike the baptism dive, in which you remain guided by the hands at all times.
The dive will last for 50 minutes, in which you will have contact with a completely different world. Get ready to see different fish, caves and even turtles.
We will remain at the diving site until 12:00, having enough time to practice snorkeling, already included in the DSD.
We will arrive at Jurerê beach at 1:30 pm.

Ilha do Arvoredo
Boat
In the essence of every diver there is a very strong desire to preserve nature. Curiosity about the world beneath the waves and the animals that inhabit the depths has attracted many generations of divers and we have inherited the tradition of protecting the environment that we enjoy every time we dive.
Diving is our passion and teaching new people about this world is our life goal.
Água Viva Mergulho was founded in 2012 on these pillars. We believe that every diver has a duty to preserve nature and we strive to incorporate this mission into our diving operations, whether collecting fishing hooks, plastic bottles or organizing specific seabed cleaning expeditions.
For all our dedication to training conscious divers and promoting environmental conservation actions, we were honored by the Green Star Awards.
The Ilha do Arvoredo Marine Biological Reserve is considered the best diving spot in southern Brazil, known for its marine diversity with various types of fish, turtles, seahorses and rays, as well as being on the migration route of humpback and Franca whales. The island is also an important archaeological site formed by burials characteristic of human occupation 4000 years ago.
The diving spots in Arvoredo differ in their characteristics, which can vary according to the formation of the bottom, minimum and maximum depths, most commonly found species, currents, or even specific characteristics, which provide a less conventional dive, such as a shipwreck, cave , etc.
The diving spots are all located in the southern portion of the island, the best known are: Ponta do Farol, Saco do Vidal, Saco do Farol, Baía do Engenho, Baía das Tartarugas, Saco do Batismo and Saco do Capim.
