If you're feeling lost, without knowing where to start, we prepared a summary of activities for beginners that will let you feel more confident to take a decision. Here you have the links of the respective activities so you can navigate through the site more easily.

Snorkeling

Snorkeling is an activity for all that admire the ocean, enjoy an adventure and love nature. To begin, we walk to the beach and board our boat for the 8am departure to Arvoredo Island, a diving paradise of southern Brasil. The 90 minute trip allows plenty of time for theoretical training and instruction of practical techniques, and opportunity to answer all of your questions.

Discover Scuba

Discover Scuba Diving is a dynamic program of one day only. The student receives the theoretical instruction in the same boat while sailing to the dive spot. Then a PADI instructor will take you along the surface until the shallow water (between 1 and 2 m) where the diving will start with the adaptation. The proportion is one student per instructor; the immersion will take 30 minutes, between 2 and 5 m deep. This activity is ideal for those who have little time available, for those who want just to experience how diving is or for whom is no plenty convinced if will be adapted or if will like it enough to the point of making a diving course and become diver. It is not necessary to know how to swim. Student must have completed 10 years old to start the program.

PADI Scuba Diver

PADI Scuba Diver is part of the PADI Open Water and generates an intermediate certification. The course is divided into 3 parts spread over three days: theory, pool and 2 open water dives. Normally the student chooses to perform the intermediate certification and for a limited time. It is possible to complete the course in 2 days, depending on the course schedule. The Scuba Diver certification enables students to dive at depths till 12 m and always supervised by a PADI professional. To enroll in this course, students must have 10 years.

PADI Open Water

The PADI Open Water diving course is the most sought worldwide. The course is divided into 3 parts, spread in 4 days: theory, pool and 4 dives. It is possible to complete the course in 3 days, depending on the course schedulle. The PADI Open Water certification enables students to dive at depths not exceeding 18 m. To enroll in this course, students must have 10 full years.

PADI Bubblemaker

The PADI Bubblemaker program is for children from 8 years old who are looking for an adventure. The program is dynamic and will be accomplished in only one day with a quick and simple theory and then, the student performs some exercises in the pool with duration of 1 hour, supervised by a PADI Assistant Instructor or a PADI Instructor. Although there is no certification in the PADI Bubblemaker course, there is a diploma that is given to the student at the end of the program. It is not necessary that the student know to swim to enroll in the program.

PADI Seal Team

The PADI Seal Team program is for children from 8 years of age, as the PADI Bubblemaker course, but it is a complete program. The student receives a manual with a DVD. After the student completes the theory, the PADI Instructor takes the student to the pool to fulfill a series of skills with full diving equipment. This program is similar to the PADI Open Water course, but without open water dives (sea). At the end of the course the student is registered into the PADI site and receives a PADI certification at home.
